The Cozy Stove & Fireplace Shop was established in 1998 in the small hamlet of Warrensburg, New York located in the Adirondack Park. We have over 100 stoves on display in our 4000 sq ft log building showroom, with beautiful built in Adirondack-style displays. We also carry a full line of accessories and chimney components. We pride ourselves on customer service. We have found over the years more customers are searching for parts, so we have expanded by serving to our customers online.

Shipping Policy:

Stoves, Fireplaces, Inserts

All stove, fireplace, inserts, etc will be shipped via common carrier and other shipments over 1000 lbs). Please note that some of our products are offered with free shipping promotions.  Shipping includes dock to dock delivery in the USA 48 contiguous states.  Residential, lift gate or inside delivery upgrades will incur additional charges, and will be charged to the customer.  If these arrangements are required, please contact our staff for a proper quote.  Also if "prior notice" or "24 hour notification" is requested on shipments, additional charges may be applied.  Customer will be liable for any re-consignment or any additional incurred fees due to "24hr notification" pre-delivery request.


Free Shipping Policy on Stoves, Inserts, and Fireplaces:

Free shipping is valid to states east of the Mississippi River to a local shipping docks. For residential curbside deliveries please contact our staff for a freight quote.  West Coast customers also please contact our staff for a freight quote. Our staff will provide the best rates for you!

Inspecting  freight shipments:

You must inspect the shipment before signing for it.  Every freight shipment is insured, but in order to collect the insurance on damaged goods the receiver MUST INSPECT THE SHIPMENT BEFORE SIGNING FOR IT.  Therefore, it is imperative that you carefully inspect your shipment for any damage.  If there is any damage at all you must note the damage on the freight bill. This is the only way you will be compensated for the damage.  Pictures are a great instrument in helping validating any possible damage claim.

A very small amount of freight shipments arrive damaged, but be sure to inspect your item when it arrives. The most common cause of damage is the fork-lift so pay special attention to holes poked in the packaging and to the bottom 18" of the shipment. Inspect the outside of the packaging to look for dents or crushed corners. If you see anything slightly suspicious carefully remove all packaging and inspect the item. The driver may be impatient but that beats having to settle for a damaged item.  Unlike FedEx or UPS, if you sign your Freight bill free of any claims then you have little recourse if you later discover that it is damaged.

Time matters since most shipping companies only let us file claims within 48 hours of delivery.

Shipping Damages:

Our products ship factory direct right to your door. They are packaged by the factory to withstand damage during shipping. If a product looks damaged or parts are missing, please contact us immediately at (518) 623-4349 or via email at sales@cozycabin.net.

When it comes to truck shipments (shipments other than UPS or FedEx) even if the package appears only slightly damaged, write "Damaged" on the bill of lading slip when you sign for delivery. This is extremely important to expedite a fast resolution.  If the package looks significantly damaged, you may refuse delivery completely and the trucking company will notify us.  We can then send a new one right away to your location.  If you refuse delivery, please notify us.  Time matters since most shipping companies only let us file claims within 48 hours of delivery.

Parts Return Policy:

Items to be returned for refund or store credit must be processed within 30 days of the invoice date. There will be a 25% restocking fee charged on all items returned for a refund. No restocking fee for items returned for in-store credit. There will be no refunds or store credit issued after 30 days.



Original shipping charges will not be refunded and customer is responsible for return shipping.



All gas and electronic parts (Example: gas valves, thermocouple, thermopile, remote controls, switches, etc.) are shipped in a thermal sealed bag. These parts are eligible for return only if sealed bag is unopened. There will be no refunds or store credit issued if bag has been opened or seal damaged.



All parts to be returned will require an RGA # to be placed on the outside of the package. Please call us at (518) 623-4349 to request an RGA#. There will be no credit issued on items returned without an RGA# on the outside of the package.
